and it's after one
gazing at the street
yawn. another head on crash
frenchies, learn to drive

and from such an old lady
shame her purse is gone
sitting here at work
find myself on the facebook
gosh my boyfriend's hot
one more espresso?
you think i can handle it?
my hands shake, no thanks
yes, i'm a stagiaire
sir your sneer is audible
just please don't hang up
need an envelope
that exists only in hell

my phone clock runs fast
deceived by those ten minutes
every single time
